It Starts with This;;

A soft presence brushing against the deepest corners of your mind. A catalyst. A

drive to become, to unfold lethargic wings and take the sky. It belongs to you.

It starts with You.

On October 20th, the Nothingless coalition held our second event, DBLEVSION.

​

 

Originally called Double Vision, [re-named/spelt after a playlist Maggie created]the idea dawned on me after a night of painting with holyache. Together we painted the second piece, among a litany of others, showcased at DBLEVSION.

[side: Jake and I painted the first at my old house].The Vision was to hold an event where artists in the Nothingless coalition could

showcase their talents in the space.

Additionally, this -first- event served as a debut for Manic.’s “It Starts With This”double. It offered the individual an opportunity to peer into the direction we’re headed. Despite the delayed double release, the decision to keep the event on 10//20 proved providential. It is not an exaggeration when I say the night was unparalleled. It has taken me a long time to put the magic into words.

Holyache, and our own Reverend Vero.

SlyBoy began the spell by performing an alternate version of his set with self-

made visuals

​

Vero’s rapturous performance still fills my mind. The way his fingers find home

against white keys will never cease to amaze me. He plays like a soul well

beyond his years.

​

Holyache, V, provided ambiance with a liturgy of synth sounds in the studio.

 

They dedicated time, energy, and piece of their soul in each painting we created

together —- and separately.
