 ABOUT:  MANIC. is a melancholy rock band from Nashville, TN. The trio of producers, songwriters, and multimedia artists, comprised of Nicholas Banos, Matthew Vero, and Jacob Saint Patrick were brought together during the pandemic and after the death of Nicholas’ mother. They have created their own blend of soulful, synth-infused alternative rock with poetry and elements of shoegaze, jazz, new wave, post rock, grunge, noise, and pop. Listeners can expect melodic bass lines, soaring emotional pop/rock vocals, New Orleans-inspired piano, & synesthetic sound scapes. MANIC.’s single “Gone” has garnered nearly 1 million listens on Spotify, and their recent double single “It Starts With This;” has garnered support on Spotify’s “Rock Your Block” and “All New Rock” playlists, as well as the Apple Music playlists “Breaking Rock” and “New In Rock”. Their raw and explosive live energy, thought provoking lyrics, and larger than life persona has found them performing for consistently packed rooms, previously headlining the High Watt with Maggie Miles, and appearing at Exit/In in late March. MANIC.’s relentlessness, dedication to expression, making a dent in culture, building lasting relationships, and timeless ethos has rallied some of the city’s most promising misfits to their collective & community. They are currently completing their first full- length concept album, and have teased multiple standalone singles for late 2022.
